In June of 2003 after 7 years of teaching full time I began a sabbatical to have more time to pursue my interest in the arts. I am presently spending most of my time painting, traveling, and giving private English lessons. Where I will be in the future could be a matter of luck, fate, or a well written cover letter. I am primarily looking for a teaching position at the Elementary School level, but also believe that my experience working with older students in university and community college would make me a good candidate to teach at the high school or university level in art. I am open to any position that leads me to new places, adventures, and professional growth. My strength and experience as a teacher lies in working with younger children in the areas of art and computers. I recently became a certified ESOL teacher (CELTA) and have experience teaching English to both children and adults.
